AQHA Young Horse Development Program Application Is Open
The AQHA Ranching Heritage Young Horse Development Program (YHD) showcases the stock being bred and raised by AQHA Ranching Heritage members by matching donated weanlings with AQHYA members. Pictured is past R5 recipient Sylvia Speelman with MY SHININ CATILLAC. On the left, Legacy and Sylvia in 2022 and on the right, this duo competing in 2025. Upcoming 2025 AQHYA Youth World Show
Congratulations to the R5 exhibitors invited to attend the prestigious 2025 AQHYA Youth World Championship Show August 1-10 in OKC! Exhibitors from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and Virginia have accepted the challenge. Not only is there intense competition in the arena but several other contests like public speaking, art/photo and horse judging planned. Check out the link for the schedule and live feed.

Hosted by the New Jersey Quarter Horse Association (NJQHA), the Region 5 Championship celebrated its 20th anniversary this year! The show was so big that stalling tents were added for the overflow. Check out some of the great moments captured by the Equine Chronicle and InStride Edition.
